Testing
"It's the best test facility in the UK by far!" - Ari Vatanen The Sweet Lamb complex offers over 20 miles of world class gravel and tarmac road stages ideally suited to testing all aspects of rally cars and off-road vehicles. Gravel roads are maintained to very high standards being re-graded and rolled regularly. Sections of 2 mile loops including crests, jumps and watersplashes may be combined to create the ideal proving ground for the vehicles, components and drivers alike. A 1.5 mile tarmac section is also available incorporating jumps and corrugations, providing realistic asphalt testing for vehicle development. A fully powered, heated and well lit workshop enables teams to prepare and adjust equipment in comfort, whilst the fully equipped kitchen and recreational facility allow personnel to relax away from the service area. A landline telephone is also available. Testing facilities are suitable for both factory and private teams, with limited road use options being offered at realistic budget prices subject to availability.
